Ensuring Certification Reliability for a Responsible Fashion Industry
In the fashion industry, traceability and transparency have become essential. As regulations evolve and compliance requirements grow, managing certifications in a secure and rigorous way is key to building a reliable and responsible supply chain.
At Fairly Made, we have implemented a system that allows suppliers to upload their certifications directly onto our platform, ensuring greater reliability and enhanced traceability of products.
Uploading Certifications by Suppliers
Suppliers can upload various types of certifications directly to the platform:
- Factory certifications: verifying compliance with social and environmental standards.
- Material certifications: guaranteeing the origin and characteristics of textiles (e.g., GOTS, OCS, GRS…).
- Transaction Certificates (TCs): confirming that a batch of material complies with the declared certifications.
These documents provide complete traceability and help evaluate the compliance level of partners throughout the supply chain.
Automated Certification Verification
Once uploaded, the certifications are subjected to AI-powered verification. This system analyzes the consistency between the information provided in the supplier’s profile and the details in the documents.
Objectives of this verification:
- Ensure consistency of the submitted data.
- Speed up the processing and validation of certifications.
This approach guarantees a faster and more reliable validation process.
Validation and Availability of Certifications
Once uploaded, the certification is available directly from the Supplier tab on the platform. On each supplier profile, you can find all their certifications and preview documents by clicking on the certification name.

This feature provides a clear and structured view of valid certifications, making it easier to assess the compliance level of different supply chain stakeholders.

💡Color Code for Easy Navigation
- Certifications in red are invalid or expired.
- Certifications in orange are pending verification.
- Certifications in green are valid.
You can also export all certification data using the “Certificates” extract at the top right of your screen.
A Key Indicator: the Certification Score
Each validated certification contributes to a certification score, an indicator available on the platform that helps assess the robustness and compliance commitment of each supplier.
